Don't want to be down but.. both me and most recently my wife have had medical problems. I knew I would be OK when I learned I was going to room 480 after 2 weeks in ICU. The sun rose in the east over the Canadian flag from my window - so you got it - Four 80 East is my karma! 5 operations later I am as good as I'm gonna get. Today your fifth CD arrived in the mail! Roll On is what we will do. Today we found out that my wife will start Chemo-therapy shortly. A lot of numerology here. And more karma.
I have no idea how you both get inspiration for your background grooves or how you continue to compose the music that you both do but my time in ICU gave me the thought that maybe medical sounds would be interesting (no flat lines please). The various pieces of equipment and monitors produced some interesting notes.

Keep up the great work guys. We really enjoy your efforts.

Thanks Robin... We wish all the strength in the world to you both! We're honored to be able to help at least in part by lifting your spirits a little... music can be a great escape. I've spent a fair amount of time in ICU units over the years, thankfully not for myself (yet) but for my kids and other family members; the hypnotic tones of the equipment sure can start to sound musical after a while! I'll see if I can work something in somewhere on the new album. No promises, but I'll try!
