Really? Noodle soup sounds really cool. It has a nice fluent beat to it.

Noodle Soup rocks - definately put it on a future album for all to hear! It's a bit 90's isn't it!? Now, as I'm a man full of questions, (Surprise, surprise,)here's another. (Woohoo!) Rob - when you've played in your solos, do you use the quantize function? I've tried using it and it sometimes buggers up my fancy note playing. It's a tad annoying, but if you don't quantize it, it sounds out of time!
And Logic's way of quantizing is utterly bizzare... Do you understand it!???

Maybe because it's the original, but I like this version because of its clarity and focus. It feels slightly "retro" against the newer work but that's cool. It stays in the groove - great song for a windows down Autumn drive in the country. And as soon as it stops raining here ...

The fresh "Noodle" is out and about on iTunes. I'd heard "Closer" (En Route album) on SOMA FM and went looking for it. Found the new album and downloaded the title track, another great song. Incidentally, the first track, "Five by Five" is dominated by keyboard work that sounds as if it were inspired by Pat Metheney.
